This workshop explores the relationship between equality and the body, focusing on themes such as bodily autonomy, representation and the impact of social norms.

Equality and Vulnerability
Drawing on feminist theory, this workshop challenges the notion of women as ‘vulnerable subjects’ in need of protection, proposing instead that vulnerability is a universal characteristic shared by all people. In particular, the workshop focuses on how different forms of vulnerability intersect with gender and influence individuals’ experiences and rights.
