We Frame Short Film Festival

We kindly invite you to the closing night of the WE Frame Short Film Festival, which has seen young filmmakers from across Italy and Europe create and submit their films on gender-related themes. These films differ in their narrative perspectives, stylistic choices and the language used, but are united by the idea of exploring bodies, power, vulnerability and differences through a fresh lens.

14 May | Masterclass with Lyda Patitucci “The Italian Action Woman”

A Masterclass about:

• The role of the female protagonist in cinematic storytelling.
• Audiovisual languages and action sequences.
• Challenging stereotypes: equality, rights, identity, expertise, courage, integration, and diverse cultures.

A training masterclass featuring Lyda Patitucci, director of highly acclaimed action films such as “Like Sheep Among Wolves” and “I am Rosa Ricci” (the spin-off of the hit TV series The Sea Beyond). She has directed several episodes of the Netflix series “Motorvalley” and “Curon” and served as Second Unit Director on various productions, including Matteo Rovere’s “Italian Race” and “The First King.”
