C.D.S. Centro Ricerche Documentazione e Studi Economico Sociali ODV – ITALY

The C.D.S. is a non-profit voluntary organisation and is committed to respecting gender balance. It organises, carries out, manages, and promotes socio-economic research, information, culture, and consultancy activities in favour of the community and the Ferrarese territory; it produces and disseminates publications dealing with social, economic, political, cultural, and religious issues. The Annuario Socio Economico Ferrarese (https://www.cdscultura.com/annuario-2023/ ) has been an annual publication since 1987 of research, analysis, and commentary on the economy and society in the province of Ferrara. CDS has developed research and documentation on European and Recovery Plan funds and their impact on Ferrara; it has carried out two projects to promote European citizenship co-financed by the Emilia-Romagna Region: in 2019 on environment and local development (https://www.cdscultura.com/editoria/l-ebook-2019-sul-progetto-rer-cittadinanza-europea-ambiente-e-sviluppo-tre-casi-in-provincia-di-ferrara/ ), in 2023 on European policies and funding for overcoming territorial, generational and gender gaps (https://www.cdscultura.com/leuropa-per-le-pari-opportunita-generazionali-di-genere-e-territoriali-il-libro-sul-progetto-rer-cittadinanza-europea-2023/ ). In 2021 it organised the cycle of five online seminars on ‘Economic violence against women’ and published the proceedings ( https://www.cdscultura.com/violenza-economica-gli-atti/ ); in 2022 three seminars on ‘Women’s migration, work, welfare. Invisible violence in care work’.
