The webinar was presented during the<strong> Erasmus+ Days 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On this page, you can find <strong>information and materials<\/strong> about the webinar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Who Shapes the Gender Stories in 2025\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/wsjXUPxzcNk?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Drawing on the storytelling focus of the Future Narratives Project and the feminist knowledge creation approach of the WeFrame project, we explored how \u2018gender\u2019 is negotiated in today\u2019s media landscape and how storytelling can be used to reclaim space for inclusion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Media, from newspapers to YouTube, have a decisive influence on what we think, believe, and act upon. Yet, from an intersectional perspective, media knowledge is often shaped by few influential voices: for instance, women comprise only 30% of quoted experts in European media. In this environment, stories about gender are rapidly reshaping online spaces, daily interactions and may well shape public policy across Europe. We are seeing resistance to feminist and queer narratives, along with a rise of both longstanding and emerging perspectives such as \u2018tradwives\u2019, \u2018incels\u2019, and \u2018red pill\u2019 movements.
