About us<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

WE Frame: Collective Views for Equality<\/strong> reflects and builds on the European integration process by addressing the complexities of identities and equal rights from a gender perspective. It intends to explore and promote an intergenerational understanding of gender equality and women\u2019s rights, and the impact that intersectionality has in the real-life experiences of European citizens and third-country nationals living in the EU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project will thus promote an open dialogue and understanding on how recent events, including the Covid-19 pandemic, the wars in neighbouring countries and beyond, the climate crisis, and the emerging societal transformations are affecting the advancement of gender-equality awareness in Europe.<\/p>\n<\/div>

The project aims to re-read and re-consider the fundamental moments of the historical, political and cultural pathway that, from the feminist movements to nowadays, has led to a broadening of the enjoyment of the principle of equality (understood in not just a formal but a substantial sense), on the one hand, until to its concrete application in terms of intergenerational understanding and intersectionality, and consequently to its current crisis, on the other hand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
