WE Frame Final Event

On 14 May 2026, the final event of WE Frame: Collective Views for Equality took place in Ferrara, at Palazzo Naselli Crispi: a European project that over these months has worked to build collective views on equality, starting from communities, real stories, and differences that are too often ignored or flattened.

The event, part of the European Projects Festival, was much more than a simple presentation of results. It was a genuine moment of encounter, where those who worked on the project shared their journeys, tools and reflections with the audience.
The morning opened with Orsetta Giolo from the Department of Law at the University of Ferrara, who framed the topic and provided the context needed to dive into the heart of the project.

This was followed by an in-depth session, moderated by Maria Giulia Bernardini (University of Ferrara), in which Simona Maccagnani (Officine Europa APS), Monica Cesari (C.D.S.) and Agnese Baini (Traces&Dreams) walked through the different phases of the project: stakeholder engagement, in-person laboratories, the digital platform, and the testimonies gathered across the partner countries.
To close, Juan Manuel Hegedüs-Gravina and Silvia Pellino led the reflection on how to keep going — because projects end, but the questions and practices they generate can stay alive and grow.

Because WE Frame was built on the idea that equality is not something you build alone — and that the most interesting work begins precisely when a project comes to an end.
