Fourth Laboratory | Press release
22nd April 2026
The series of workshops organised as part of the European project WE Frame – Collective Views for Equality continues to attract growing numbers of participants. On Monday 27 April, the series returns to Ferrara for its fourth session, dedicated to the theme of ‘Equality and Vulnerability’.
The meeting will take place from 10.00 am to 5.30 pm in the Sala Carlassare of the Department of Law at the University of Ferrara (Corso Ercole I d’Este 44) and represents a new opportunity for discussion on one of the central issues of contemporary debate: the relationship between vulnerability, gender and rights. Speakers will include Thomas Casadei, full professor of Philosophy of Law at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, and Camilla Caselli, a PhD student at the University of Milan.
The programme, running from March to May, involves the Department of Law at the University of Ferrara, Officine Europa, Traces&Dreams and C.D.S. Cultura OdV, promoting opportunities for discussion on issues of equality among the academic world, civil society, associations, representative organisations, political groups and institutions.
Co-funded by the European Union under the CERV programme, the WE Frame project is entering its final phase, which will take place in May as part of the European Projects Festival 2026.
A programme which, step by step, continues to attract widespread participation and to consolidate a shared space for reflection on issues of equality, intertwining law, society and individual experiences.
